As part of this initiative, qualified PMHNP students may periodically participate in patient care experiences under the direct supervision of our licensed providers. These students are advanced practice nurses completing specialized graduate-level psychiatric training. Their involvement allows them to gain valuable clinical experience while contributing to the future of accessible mental health care in our communities.

However, patient involvement in any educational experience is always completely voluntary.

We obtain patient consent prior to any PMHNP student being involved in a patient’s care, appointment, or clinical observation.
